Small Group Rehabilitation

We have a dedicated rehabilitation space at our clinic in Chandlers Ford. We've invested in some great equipment and have a brilliant team to help you reach your goals! We go beyond the treatment room, making sure you recover from your injury and build long term, physical durability.

We offer 2 types of rehabilitation at goPhysio

  1. 1-2-1 Rehabilitation
  2. Small Group Rehabilitation

Who is Small Group Rehab for?

Small group rehabilitation is perfect if you:

  • Are recovering from an injury and want to increase your physical durability to help prevent further injuries
  • Have been having physiotherapy or sports massage treatment with us and your Therapist recommends you’d benefit from specific rehabilitation
  • Want to be proactive above preventing injury and want to work on a specific, supervised strength and conditioning programme
  • Suffer with a recurrent injury that could be addressed by specific rehabilitation
  • Have no access to a gym or exercise equipment and don't want this to hold you back with your recovery
  • Aren't confident exercising or doing your own programme and want supervision and support on hand

What does Small Group Rehab involve?

  • Your first session is a ‘getting started’ session, where you will meet 1-2-1 with your Therapist. They’ll make sure they get to know you and your individual goals and go through your rehabilitation program with you. They will carry out some baseline tests, to help measure and monitor your progress.
  • You will then attend regular rehab sessions in our Strong Room, to fit in with your diary and rehabilitation program and goals.
  • At each session, after a guided warm up, you will carry out your individual program. Your Therapist will be on hand throughout to guide and progress you, so that you are being challenged and working towards your goals at all times.
  • There will be a maximum of 3 people in each session, each working on their own program under close supervision.
  • You will be advised how many sessions are recommended, but a 6 week programme is generally advised in order to gain maximum benefit, attending twice a week.

When are the rehabilitation sessions?

We run a number of regular rehabilitation sessions throughout the week. These include:

  • Monday 6pm and 7pm
  • Tuesday 8am and 1pm
  • Wednesday 1pm, 5pm, 6pm and 7pm
  • Thursday 1pm and 5pm
  • Friday 5pm
  • Saturday 10am

How do I book Small Group Rehab?

  • Speak to our Patient Services Team either when you're in the clinic or by giving them a call on 023 8025 3317.
  • They will be able to take payment for your 6 rehab sessions and will book in your first getting started session at a time that suits you.
  • Once you've had your getting started session, you can book your remaining 5 small group rehab sessions.

How much is Small Group Rehab?

  • 6 sessions of small group rehab costs £210

How will rehabilitation help me?

The aim of rehabilitation is to help you:

  • Build long term physical durability
  • Carry out a prescribed exercise programme under close supervision at a rate that will help you achieve your goals
  • Supplement any 'hands on' treatment you have been recieving for your injury, helping you take control of your condition
  • Exercise in a safe and structured environment, where you have the confidence to take yourself to new levels
