We’ve missed doing our Positive Steps exercise classes and seeing you all every week, enjoying exercising, getting your bodies moving and chatting away!
The Sports Therapy team have been working tirelessly to find a way to bring these popular classes back by making sure our COVID secure clinic is suitable for these small group sessions in the Strong Room. Thank you to those who gave feedback on how you wish to see Positive Steps going forward.
Following government guidance, we’re unable to run the classes as before. However, we’re happy to say that our first COVID friendly Positive Steps Zoom class is taking place Friday 4th December at 1pm.
- Call us on 023 8025 3317 to book your place for our Live Stream class. You’ll then receive an email which will contain your Zoom link. A second remind email will then be sent 1 hour before the class is due to start.
- Register your interest in pre-recorded classes for you to enjoy in your own time by replying back to this email.
You’ll need is a chair and access to a screen to see us. We’ll also be using equipment that you can find at home so don’t panic if you do not own a set of small dumbbells or floor dots. The classes will be ‘home workout‘ friendly and we’ll explain everything else you’ll need beforehand via email.
We use a class management system called TeamUp which links with Zoom, in order for us to bring the same great class to you at home. You’ll receive an email from TeamUp asking you to confirm your registration, which we would have started for you.
If you had any other questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Francesca, Rosie and Will are looking forward to see you again soon!
What is Positive Steps?
Positive Steps is an exercise programme designed specifically for older people – to help you gain balance, flexibility, strength and stability. The exercises are not too strenuous and can be adapted to all abilities. We normally run these small group sessions a few times a week at goPhysio in Chandlers Ford, but due to the COVID restrictions, this isn’t currently possible.
Can’t make the online class?
