1-2-1 Rehab

We have a dedicated rehabilitation space at our clinic in Chandlers Ford. We've invested in some great equipment and have a brilliant team to help you reach your goals! We go beyond the treatment room, making sure you recover from your injury and build long term, physical durability. 

We offer 2 types of rehabilitation at goPhysio

  1. 1-2-1 Rehabilitation 
  2. Small Group Rehabilitation

Who is 1-2-1 Rehab for?

1-2-1 rehabilitation is perfect if you:

  • Are a member of a gym or have access to gym equipment and want a rehab programme you can do in your own time 
  • Are confident exercising but want guidance on exactly what you should be doing to maximise recovery in your own time OR
  • Aren't at all confident exercising and want 1-2-1 supervision with a regular programme as an alternative to our small group rehab
  • Are recovering from an injury and want to increase your physical durability to help prevent further injuries
  • Have been having physiotherapy or sports massage treatment with us and your Therapist recommends you’d benefit from specific rehabilitation 
  • Want to be proactive above preventing injury and want to work on a specific, supervised strength and conditioning programme 
  • You suffer with a recurrent injury that could be addressed by specific rehabilitation

What does 1-2-1 Rehab involve?

  • During your hour long session, your Sports & Rehab Therapist will put you through your paces, developing and practicing a customised programme for you to go away with. 
  • They will tailor the session to your individual goals and situation, adapting exercises for the equipment you have access to and making sure you have a useful and practical programme to progress your rehabilitation. 
  • Technique is fundamental, so your session will make sure that you are performiong the recommended exercises with the correct technique so you gain most benefit from your programme and don't add to your injury worries. 
  • The level of exercise that you perform, balancing challenge, abilitity and stage of injury recovery, is crucial. So, you will be guided on reps and weights to ensure you are achieving this. 
  • You can come back for further 1-2-1 sessions if you need, either to progress your programme or to have regular 1-2-1 rehab sessions om an individual basis. 
  • It's almost like a 'Clinical Personal Training'session! 

When are the 1-2-1 rehabilitation sessions?

  • You can book an hour long 1-2-1 rehab session at any time that suits you and when our Sports & Rehabilitation Therapist, Francesca, has availability throughout the week. 

How do I book a 1-2-1 rehab session?

  • You can either speak to our Patient Services Team when you're in the clinic or give us a call on 023 8025 3317 and we can book in your 1-2-1 rehab session. 

How much does it cost? 

  • Each 1 hour session costs £65. 

How will 1-2-1 rehabilitation help me?

The aim of rehabilitation is to help you:

  • Build long term physical durability
  • Teach you a prescribed exercise programme that will help you achieve your goals
  • Supplement any 'hands on' treatment you have been recieving for your injury, helping you take control of your condition 
  • Exercise in a safe and structured environment, where you have the confidence to take yourself to new levels
