FitBack & Bumps antenatal and postnatal exercise classes are unique because they are delivered by our Chartered Physiotherapists, so expert guidance and instruction is guaranteed throughout, helping remove the fear you might have about exercising during pregnancy and after you have had your baby.
Many women stop exercising during pregnancy because they are scared that it might harm their baby. However, research has shown that exercising safely and in moderation benefits both mum & baby!

goPhysio runs both an Ante Natal & Post Natal Fit Back & Bumps courses. Each course consists of 4 one hour sessions, incorporating practical exercises, stretches & educational discussions on different topics.
There are regular small group classes being held at goPhysio in Chandlers Ford. Alternatively, the programme can be run on a one to one basis or get together a small group of friends. Just give us a call to chat about the options further.
At what stage can I attend the classes?
The ante natal classes are suitable from 12 weeks of pregnancy. The post natal classes are fine to attend once you have had your '6-week check' and way beyond!
Costs
The 4 week courses cost £70, this includes a comprehensive pack containing an educational booklet & exercise cards so that you can continue the exercises at home or at the gym.
Gift vouchers for the courses are also available, a unique & practical gift for any new mum or mum-to-be!
What do I need to bring?
The course includes practical exercises, so wear something loose & comfy. We provide all the equipment you need during the class, however, many of the exercises make use of a gym ball so it is handy to have one at home so you can continue with the exercises. (Gym balls are available for sale at the class).
